Field of hybrid PV-T collectors in the desert at sunset

Berlin · Energy technology for MENA and the Gulf

Power thatdoesn't setwith the sun.

ITC brings European energy technology to industrial projects across the Middle East and North Africa. Hybrid PV-T solar that delivers around the clock, hydrogen made from wastewater, and the engineering and investment partners to build both.

About ITC

A Berlin company with a clear mandate: take proven European energy technology to the places that need it most, and stay with it until the plant is running.

ITC works where technology owners, manufacturers, investors and local contractors meet. For each project we put together the right alliance, from German hydrogen and water technology to Italian PV production lines, and we stay involved from feasibility study to daily operation.

In Egypt, our exclusive execution partner EGTC handles delivery on the ground. A strategic shareholder from Kuwait anchors our presence in the Gulf.

Technology

Two technologies built for heat, dust and scarce water.

Both systems are designed for the conditions where conventional solar farms and electrolysers start to struggle.

Hybrid PV-T · Hassabou Collector

Electricity and heat from one collector, day and night.

The Hassabou collector combines photovoltaic cells with a solar thermal absorber. The captured heat is stored, so the plant keeps supplying energy after sunset without a battery bank. An automatic cleaning system stops dust from eating into output.

Water to hydrogen · INTEC SH PWT

Green hydrogen from wastewater, seawater or slurry.

A patented physical-thermal process purifies almost any water source without chemicals. A proprietary thermo-electrolyser then splits the ultra-pure water into hydrogen and oxygen. The system runs fully automated, with no electrode cleaning and no membrane replacement.

Applications

Where it pays off first.

All applications
  • PV-T pilot plant with thermal storage tank

Solar steam for enhanced oil recovery

Steam accounts for up to 60% of production cost in thermal oil recovery. Solar steam from PV-T brings that share down, even where gas is cheap.

USD 283 bn global market by 2030about 60% of it in MENA
  • Seawater desalination plant on the Gulf coast at dawn

    Desalination

Heat and power for thermal plants (MSF, MED) and reverse osmosis, the backbone of water supply across the Gulf.

  • Pipework and pressure vessels in a hydrogen plant

    Green hydrogen for export

For industry, transport and energy storage. Produced where sun and water are available and shipped to where the demand is.

  • Tomato greenhouses in the desert next to solar collectors

    Farming in arid regions

Heating, cooling and irrigation for greenhouses, all from the same collector field.

  • Gulf airport terminal with solar collectors on the roof

    Airports, stadiums and resorts

Electricity, heat, cooling and hydrogen fuel from one integrated supply for large sites.

Engineering

From site survey to steady operation.

One point of contact for the whole life of the plant. Our partners supply the technology. We keep the project together.
